The primary hurdle involved creating an adaptable PACKAGE DESIGN system for various CBD formulations—ranging from anti-aging tinctures to athletic performance enhancers—while upholding graphical consistency and meeting regulatory requirements. Additionally, the logistical complexities of a traditional product photoshoot prompted a search for more streamlined, cost-effective solutions.

Package Design Strategy.

We developed a modular label system featuring clean layouts, distinct color schemes for each formulation, and cohesive brand elements. This approach not only guaranteed a consistent aesthetic across the entire product range but also reinforced consumer confidence by clearly differentiating each variant’s purpose.

Connecting Package Design Strategy and the CGI Process.

While the PACKAGE DESIGN strategy shaped the visual framework—ensuring consistent branding across multiple product lines—CGI brought those concepts to life in meticulously rendered scenes. This seamless integration allowed for rapid adaptation of label variants, striking a balance between creative freedom and cost-efficient production. To circumvent the expense and logistical challenges of traditional photography, we opted for CGI as the centerpiece of our visual strategy. The process unfolded in several key steps:

We gathered detailed product dimensions, material data, and reference photos—ensuring accurate digital representations of bottles, droppers, and boxes.

A skilled 3D artist created high-fidelity models, capturing even functional components like caps and dispensers. This meticulous approach allowed for realistic and versatile renderings.

Realistic textures were applied to emulate various finishes, from glossy plastics to matte papers, maintaining a balance between precision and an appealing aesthetic.

Utilizing Cinema 4D and Redshift, we developed advanced lighting setups to showcase each product’s details. Multiple angles, soft shadows, and subtle highlights were used to create a refined, photorealistic effect.

Final touches in compositing software unified colors and contrasts, matching the overall PACKAGE DESIGN language. This step ensured the images seamlessly integrated into promotional materials, online platforms, and print campaigns.
